Ricky L. Liss

Partner


Ricky L. Liss received a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Temple University in 1978, and subsequently earned his law degree from Villanova University in 1981. That same year, he was admitted to practice by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He has been a longstanding member of the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association, as well as the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He also served on the Philadelphia Bar Association Arbitration Committee. He is regularly consulted by other lawyers for his advice, expertise, and representation on behalf of their clients who have suffered injuries.

Ricky is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is recognized as one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won multi-million-dollar verdicts, awards and settlements. The organization was founded in 1993 and fewer than 1% of U.S. lawyers are members.  Ricky has also received the Avvo Clients’ Choice Award with a “Superb” rating – its highest rating for attorneys.

Ricky is the former President of the Abington Chapter of B’nai Brith as well as the honored recipient of the Poor Richard’s Award for his charitable service to the community. Ricky has volunteered for Habitat for Humanity and rebuilt homes in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana for victims of Hurricane Katrina. He is also a member of Room to Grow, an organization that renovates group homes for those in need, such as individuals with disabilities or suffering from homelessness. He and his family are also avid supporters of the Alzheimer’s Foundation and the annual Philadelphia Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  Ricky is also active with the Casey Feldman Foundation, which was established to promote traffic safety awareness and prevent distracted driving.

Through the years, Ricky has also donated thousands of turkeys at Thanksgiving to families in need in North Philadelphia. He and his family also volunteer their time and financial assistance to the Broad Street Ministry. The Ministry serves healthy meals and provides support services to Philadelphians who are homeless and/or at risk with shelter and food insecurities.

George S. Marion

George S. Marion received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University and earned his law degree from the Boston University School of Law. He is an experienced trial attorney and is a fellow of the Academy of Advocacy through the Temple University School of Law.

George has litigated hundreds of personal injury cases in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties as well as in the Lehigh Valley and the State of New Jersey. Richard L. Stutman

Richard L. Stutman graduated Cum Laude in 1982 from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and returned to Temple in 1988 to earn his law degree. In law school, he earned the Albert M. Cohen Memorial Award for dedication to the Law School Community, was assistant editor of the Environmental Law Journal and was active in the Student Bar Association. He is admitted to practice by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Richard is also a fellow of the Academy of Advocacy of Temple University School of Law, and he has litigated hundreds of cases in the Courts of Common Pleas of Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.

Richard began his career as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Smyth of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. After that, he specialized in the field of insurance defense litigation, including five years as the assistant manager of the Philadelphia Staff Counsel office of a prominent national automobile insurance company. He has put this defense knowledge to good use for the last nine years while he has represented individuals injured by the negligence of others. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Justice and has also been a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations.

In his spare time, Richard has been active in the Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El Men’s Club, where he was the Co-Chair of the Tzedakah-thon, an event that has raised thousands of dollars for local and international charities.

Adam S. Gilberg

Adam S. Gilberg received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bucknell University, in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, where he earned a triple major in Philosophy, Political Science, and Religion. Adam earned his law degree from Drexel University, where he was a Merit Scholarship recipient and was awarded CALI’s Best Student Performance Award in Criminal Law. He was subsequently admitted to the Bar by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the New Jersey Supreme Court, and United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He began his legal career at a high volume Personal Injury firm representing hundreds of clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He mastered the ability to make full recoveries from Plaintiffs who had chosen the Limited Tort Option on their car insurance. His litigation experience made him an excellent addition to the Liss & Marion family when he joined the firm in April of 2016. In addition to personal injury claims, Adam also represents clients seeking Social Security Disability benefits.

A native to the Philadelphia area, Adam attended Harriton High School in Lower Merion where he studied in the International Baccalaureate program. Now a South Philadelphia resident, Adam is active in his South Philly community volunteering with the Friends of Cianfrani Park to continue to preserve and beautify Philadelphia.

As an active member of the Philadelphia community, Adam serves as a board member of the Golden Slipper Camp, which provides children in and around the Philadelphia area the opportunity to attend a fantastic summer camp in the Poconos. Adam is also a member of the Human Needs and Resources (HUNAS) committee that awards grants to people and families in financial need.
